Matters needing attention when selecting air compressor.
1. Consider the safety of compressor operation.
Air compressor is a kind of machine working under pressure, which is accompanied by temperature rise and pressure. Its operation safety should be put in the first place. The state implements a standardized "two certificates" system for compressor production, i.e. compressor production license and pressure vessel production license (air tank). Therefore, when purchasing compressor products, the "two certificates" should be strictly examined. Generally, the product quality assurance system of certified manufacturers is perfect and there will be no major quality problems. Even if there are some problems, the manufacturer will be responsible for the three guarantees.
2. Consideration should be given to the occasion and conditions of gas use.
If the gas field is narrow (for ships and vehicles), vertical type should be selected. If there is a long-distance change (over 500m) in the gas usage situation, mobile type shall be considered; If power cannot be supplied on the occasion of use, the diesel-driven type shall be selected. If there is no running water in the place of use, the air-cooled type must be selected.
3. Consider the quality of compressed air.
The compressed air produced by the general air compressor contains a certain amount of lubricating oil and a certain amount of water. In some occasions, oil and water are forbidden. At this time, attention should be paid not only to the compressor type selection, but also to the addition of auxiliary devices when necessary.
The solution: First, choose a non-lubricated compressor. The second and commonly used method is to add a primary or secondary purification device or dryer to the air compressor.
4. Should consider the level of exhaust pressure and exhaust volume.
The discharge pressure of general-purpose aerodynamic compressors is 0.7MPa, and the old standard is 0.8MPa. At present, there is an air compressor with an exhaust pressure of 0.5MPa in the society, which is unreasonable from the point of view of use, because the pressure margin is too small for pneumatic tools and cannot be used if the air delivery distance is slightly longer. In addition, from the design point of view, this kind of compressor is designed for primary compression, and its pressure ratio is too large, which is easy to cause the exhaust temperature to be too high, causing carbon deposit in the cylinder, leading to accidents. If the compressor used by the user is greater than 0.8MPa, it should be specially manufactured and forced pressurization cannot be adopted to avoid accidents.
